Behaviour has always been the reason i went into dog training in the first place, in my nearly 50 years of life, I have only had one dog from a puppy, and he still had issues but nothing compared to the rescues that I have taken on, I have had to deal with aggression, biting, fear, anxiety, ADHD, resource guarding, dog aggression, human aggression, and with a lot of time, a lot of technique, and a lot of patience, and love, you see these dogs transform into you know what they are meant to be, not perfect but perfect for me............ I mean who wants perfect, but what I do want is a dog who feels safe, relaxed , confident and happy.

If you think a behaviour can be fixed in a time scale, then you need to rethink your expectations, behaviour is dealt with over a period of time, the dog has learnt this behaviour, and we have to unteach and replace with another one, this takes time.

Owners must have patience!

Biting, Aggression, Separation anxiety, Resource guarding.

Behaviours happen when a dog is not getting his needs fulfilled, so he starts to create his own reinforcement, the great news is they have taught it to themselves, so we need to help them learn it, all it takes is time and patience.
